The short version: RecoverTrack stores your information on your
own device and in your personal iCloud account. We do not run servers that collect
your data, we cannot see your information, and we never sell it or share it with
third parties.
This Privacy Policy explains how RecoverTrack ("the app," "we," "us") handles your
information. RecoverTrack is a personal wellness and recovery-tracking tool. Please
read this alongside the in-app disclaimer, which explains that RecoverTrack is not a
medical device and does not provide medical advice.
Information the app stores
RecoverTrack lets you record information related to your recovery, which may include:
Daily check-ins (pain, stiffness, sleep, energy, mood) and notes you enter
Body-map markings indicating where you experience pain or stiffness
Exercises, exercise programs, and logged activity
Medications, dosages, schedules, and doses you record
Appointments and medical test or imaging records, including any files or photos you choose to attach
Profile details you enter, such as your name, injury description, and provider information
Health and activity metrics read from Apple Health, if you grant permission (see below)
Where your information is stored
All of the information you enter is stored locally on your device
and, if you use iCloud, synced through your own private iCloud account
using Apple's iCloud/CloudKit. This means:
Your data stays under your control, on your devices and in your Apple account.
We do not operate any servers that receive, store, or process your information.
We have no ability to access, view, or retrieve your data.
If you choose to connect Apple Health, RecoverTrack reads metrics such as workouts,
steps, heart rate, sleep, and mobility measurements to show them alongside your recovery
data. This access is optional and only happens after you grant permission.
Health data read from Apple Health is used only to display and summarize your
progress within the app.
It is stored the same way as your other app data — on your device and your own iCloud.
We do not transmit your Health data to us or to any third party.
You can revoke the app's access at any time in
Settings › Privacy & Security › Health.
Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, and is never sold.
Sharing reports
RecoverTrack can generate a report (for example, to share with your therapist or
doctor). When you share a report, you choose where it goes using your
device's standard share options. The app does not upload or send reports on your behalf.
What we do not do
We do not collect analytics or tracking data about you.
We do not use third-party advertising or marketing services.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
We do not create user accounts or profiles on any server.
Children's privacy
RecoverTrack is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect
information from children. Because all data stays on the user's own device and iCloud,
any information entered remains under the control of the device owner.
Your control over your data
You can view, edit, or delete the information you entered directly in the app.
Deleting the app removes its data from your device; data synced to iCloud can be
managed or removed through your iCloud settings.
You can disconnect Apple Health access at any time in the Settings app.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where
appropriate, note the change within the app.
